Of that amount, $650 million was directed to the company’s dollar reserve and $3.1 million to cash, pushing the reserve to $4.65 billion as of Aug. 9 from $4 billion a week earlier. The company has not purchased Bitcoin since June and is building liquidity against $1.76 billion in annual dividend obligations, largely by selling stock.
